Cloud BI report cites GoodData as a leading vendor focused on helping customers unlock the value of their data

SAN FRANCISCO – December 14, 2015 – GoodData®, the leading provider of business intelligence for data monetization to enterprises and ISVs, today announced it was cited as a Leader in the The Forrester Wave™: Cloud Business Intelligence Platforms, Q4 2015 report by Forrester Research, Inc. This recognition follows Forrester Research Inc.’s Agile BI report, The Forrester Wave™: Agile Business Intelligence Q3 2015, in which GoodData was also recognized as a leader.

The Cloud BI report finds that business agility and implementation and deployment speed are two key benefits of cloud BI. GoodData receives the top score for the BI on BI criterion within the current offering category and is cited for offering an enterprise-grade “data pipeline” to ease the burden of preparing data for analytics. Security and compliance concerns, as well as application performance and implementation are included in the report’s list of potential cloud BI issues. According to GoodData’s latest usage reports, unlike traditional BI vendors, GoodData ensures a 99.5% SLA and averages 90 days to implement its analytics distribution platform.

According the the report: “A key differentiator is GoodData’s ‘insights-as-a-service’ capability. Leveraging the insights gained from analyzing vast numbers of GoodData community interactions, this supports end users by suggesting what they might want to do next, based on their current actions. To set itself apart further, the company has pivoted to focus on helping customers unlock the value of their data by sharing and externalizing it via the GoodData platform.”
