SAN FRANCISCO – January 22, 2015 – Today GoodData® was named a Finalist in the Customer Service Department of the Year – Computer Software category during the ninth annual Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service. GoodData recognizes customer service as a key differentiator and has sustained a customer satisfaction rating of 98 percent for the past year.

More than 1,900 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year’s competition, an increase of 27 percent over 2014. Finalists were determined by the average scores of 139 professionals worldwide, acting as preliminary judges.

“Customer needs are built into GoodData’s DNA,” said Ran Van Riper, SVP Global Services at GoodData. “Customer obsession is our first company pillar; it’s great to see that commitment recognized. I am so proud of our Customer Support team for delivering industry-leading service that exemplifies GoodData’s dedication to excellence and customer success.”

The Customer Service Department of the Year categories will be decided by popular vote between January 22 and February 13 to determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the finalists.

GoodData is a leading cloud-based, end-to-end analytics platform with security and time to value at its core, backed by a Customer Support team obsessed with helping users reach data-driven results. GoodData’s industry notoriety for its customer service success is proven by the company’s efforts to reduce its first response time for ticket submissions by over 50 percent compared to last year, an average that is almost 16 times faster than the 21-hour industry average.

“The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service continues to be the fastest-growing of our international awards programs,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “The sheer number of nominations is matched by the increasing quality of those nominations. We congratulate all of this year’s Finalists and wish them well in the next phase of judging.”

The Stevie Awards, which organizes several of the world’s leading business awards shows including the prestigious International Business Awards and the new German Stevie Awards, will host a gala banquet for finalists on Friday, February 27 at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.
