GoodData® Leading Insights-as-a-Service Company Applauds Gartner’s Observations on the State of the Business Intelligence Market

SAN FRANCISCO – March 06, 2015 – GoodData®, a leading “cloud-exclusive” vendor with a comprehensive end-to-end business intelligence and analytics platform, was included in Gartner’s annual Magic Quadrant Report for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms for the third year running. GoodData believes this year’s Gartner report signals potential for dramatic changes in the market and charts the drivers pushing the industry.

“The analytic conversations are changing from ‘techno-speak’ to delivering measurable value through both agility and scale. The cloud solves this by enabling Insights-as-a-Service,” said Jeff Morris, VP of product marketing. “We believe it is no coincidence that the focus and core competencies of GoodData match two thirds of the growth drivers cited in the Magic Quadrant Market Overview.”

Growth Drivers from the Report Include:

  • Cloud BI will continue to grow in LOBs and beyond as data gravity (where the majority of data resides) shifts to the cloud
  • Embedded Business Intelligence
  • Customer-facing analytics and data monetization
  • Collaboration and social capabilities
  • Smart data discovery will extend data discovery to a wider range of users and enhance insights and interpretation
  • Self-service data preparation and enrichment addresses a high-value data discovery challenge

“GoodData is exclusively cloud-based, and growing our OEM channels by helping to bring revenue-generating data products to market,” Morris continued. “As more data shifts to the cloud, we help enterprises thoroughly understand customer journeys, tapping the systems that today’s CMOs use to prove ROI across traditional and social channels. Our Analytical Designer’s collective learning features steer users along their data-discovery paths. Today, our ability to deliver Insights-as-a-Service is critical to meeting the time-to-market demands of our user communities.”
