GoodData Announces Divyasmita Ghatak as Chief People Officer

Former Cisco executive to implement high-impact people operations focused on employee engagement, culture, talent development and collaboration

SAN FRANCISCO – December 19, 2013 – GoodData®, the leader in cloud business intelligence, today announced the addition of Divyasmita Ghatak as Chief People Officer. Ghatak brings extensive leadership experience developing strategic people operations for diverse global businesses, with a special focus on employee engagement, talent and leadership development, corporate culture and organizational collaboration.

GoodData integrates with Oracle Cloud SaaS applications and powers data analytics capabilities to enable sales leaders to exceed goals every quarter, get more visibility into their pipeline and build stronger teams. The GoodData Sales Analytics App delivers pre-built, relevant sales data, historical trending reports and easy-to-use, easy-to-share dashboards.

Ghatak joins GoodData from Cisco Systems where she led talent and implementation of people strategy for SaaS and Collaboration, assuming HR responsibility for 4,500 employees globally. Prior to Cisco, she served as Director of Human Resources for North American Operations at Tavant Technologies, where she led multiple organization design changes as the company moved to a global delivery model. Previously, Ghatak founded and served as CEO for Venturis India, an executive search firm that placed candidates with multinational firms in India.

Through her data-driven approach to human resources, Ghatak will focus on measurable impact and align people processes with company brand, culture and goals.
