Time Transformations

MAQL time transformation functions allow you to refer to past or future time periods. Depending on the function, time transformations can relate to a certain pre-specified granularity of time, or can adapt to the context (attribute granularity) of a given insight.

FOR Next and FOR NextPeriod functions allow you to create a metric that incorporates metric values from a future time period. 

FOR Previous and FOR PreviousPeriod functions allow you to create a metric that incorporates metric values from a past time period.
