Sales Manager

GoodData is currently looking for a Sales Manager for the SMB Sales Team in our Prague office. Our fast-growing team drives GoodData's sales activities in the SMB segment based on a product-led growth strategy, uncovering the business value of our solution for potential customers, responding to their inquiries and questions and helping them evaluate our product. 

Your job will be to

• Lead a team of Account Executives to drive net new customer acquisition and cross sell revenue

• Deliver against ARR targets and sales quotas as defined by executive leadership

• Recruit, enable and retain Account Executives focused on sourcing, developing and closing net new and cross sell opportunities

• Instill a culture of accountability, by leading through example, to ensure compliance with operational expectations like proper meeting preparation and verifying timely follow up

• Collaborate with peer technical leadership to ensure appropriate technical fit

• Engage with prospective customer senior level decision makers

• Escalate issues with executive leadership in a timely fashion 

• Manage the proper qualification and progression of deals in the pipeline 

About You

• 4 years of sales experience within SaaS, B2B, or enterprise software companies preferably

• At least 1 year in a sales leadership or team lead role

• Proven track record meeting and exceeding quota and key metrics.

• Previous experience in communicating with sr. leadership and C-Level Executives.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including high caliber presentation skills

• Ability to work cross-culturally/cross-functionally

• Demonstrated urgency and professionalism in all internal and external interactions along with a natural curiosity

• Desire to foster a healthy work environment where Account Executives thrive through positivity but are held accountable

• Strong detail orientation and a focus on high level of customer service

It is nice to have

• Exposure to Business Intelligence of Data Analytics solutions

• Experience working with partners in the cloud data ecosystem like Snowflake, Dremio, AWS, etc.
