We are currently looking for a L1 Customer Support analyst. In this position you would be responsible for providing high-quality technical customer support for the GoodData SaaS and cloud native software across the world.

GoodData’s Customer Support team helps to make our product  understandable to our customers (both engineers and business people).

We're looking for an exceptional and enthusiastic new colleague who can understand technical concepts and be able to explain them to people with varied technical experience.

What will you do?

  • Interact with GoodData customers to help resolve support tickets and generally educate the customers to be comfortable using the application on their own.
  • Handle all incoming inquiries from customers as the first line point of contact and assist customers by diagnosing technical problems and providing resolutions and/or workarounds.
  • Stay up-to-date on GoodData platform features.
  • Work closely with users, product management, marketing and engineering teams across multiple time zones to make sure GoodData customer support is exceeding customer expectations and that customer feedback is incorporated into product development.

About you

  • Fluent English (Czech is welcome, but not required).
  • Real enthusiasm and eagerness to join our dynamic  team.
  • Affinity for and familiarity with Web technologies to at least moderately technical level.
  • Willingness to continuously learn new technologies.
  • Willingness to work on shifts (8-hr shifts to provide 24/5 coverage).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, internet protocols and IT security.
  • A big plus to have any experience with one of (business intelligence/analytics, web based application frontend/backend, DB (MySQL, Vertica), JavaScript, Ruby, TCP/IP networking, various authentication schemes etc.).
