A thrilling metric: Celebrating our customers and the ROI they’ve gained

You can’t really ask for more out of a headline than this: “GoodData returns $4.00 for every dollar spent”. Talk about exciting! I love this report in particular for two reasons: not only did it reveal a really compelling metric about the ROI we deliver, but it also got our customers great exposure.

As Director of Corporate Communications and Customer Marketing, a big part of my job involves working with our customers to help tell their stories and celebrate their successes, as well as our own. Sometimes that takes the form of success stories or award submissions, but the Nucleus Research report was unique in that it’s a third party recognizing the hard work that we and our customers are doing—and the partnerships that we’ve formed.

I feel strongly about the importance of building a collaborative relationship with our customers. It makes me happy to see them succeed, and the drive to meet their evolving needs is what pushes us as an organization to continue to develop our platform. I’m glad to see that Nucleus Research picked up on how integral our partnerships are to the way we work; in the report, they specifically cite that our customers chose to work with us because GoodData “continually adjusts according to their growing needs.” Wow! Thank you!

On our end, we’re delighted to be able to deliver a product that our customers have found useful and valuable. Kelsey Anspach, an analyst with Nucleus Research, summed it up well by saying that “The solution transforms data and user decisions into actionable insights in the context of workflow processes, which enables customers to make data-driven decisions and increases employee productivity.” With the GoodData platform, we strive to provide our customers with the right analytics and insights that they need to let them do their jobs better and more easily than they could before.

Now it’s time to build on this success. I’m always looking for ways to highlight the work that we do and keep our customers in the spotlight.  Onward and upward!
